Frequently asked questions
- How long can I keep the dress?
- Our rentals are 4 days, and the price on each dress is for the whole rental. If you need it for longer, message us.
- What if the dress doesn't fit?
- Contact us as soon as possible and we'll help with the best available option. If you're local, we encourage a try-on before you rent to make sure it fits.
- How do returns work?
- Use the prepaid return satchel and take it to your closest Australia Post office before 12pm the day after your event, then send us a photo of your lodgement receipt. Please don't use a post box - it can delay the dress by up to 2 weeks. We'll send you a reminder on your return day.
- What if the dress is damaged?
- Please contact us straight away so we can guide you through the next steps. If there's a fault you weren't aware of, let us know as soon as you receive the dress, with photos.
- Is dry cleaning included?
- Yes - the price of every dress includes dry cleaning. Please don't clean the dress yourself, as improper cleaning may damage it.
- Can I get a refund?
- If you cancel 60 or more days before your rental starts, you'll get a credit with us. Closer than that, nothing comes back. If we ever have to cancel, you're refunded in full. Minor wear like small marks, fluff or loose threads is expected on rental pieces.
- Can you post it to me?
- Yes - we send by Express Post. Postage is $30, which is $15 each way including a prepaid return satchel. Please book with enough time for Australia Post to deliver before your event.
- Can I pick up in person?
- Yes - you can collect from us in Tanilba Bay. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll confirm the details in messages.
- Can I try before I rent?
- Yes - try-ons are $10, which comes off your rental if you rent within 48 hours. If you cancel, don't show or don't rent, the $10 isn't refunded. Please don't wear make-up or fresh fake tan to a try-on.
- How do payments work?
- You pay by card when you book, through Ourfit's secure checkout. Your card details are never shared with us.
- How far ahead can I book?
- You can book up to 12 months ahead. Book early if you need it posted, so it arrives in time.
